We’ve made 100 Games!
Nolimit City has officially hit the big 100. And like any good centenarian, we've got stories. A lot of them. Our journey? It’s like watching a kid grow up – starting from innocent carnival rides to rebellious teenage years, then hitting adulthood with a mid-life crisis, and now welcoming grandkids into the world. Let’s break it down for you:
Birth:
Creepy Carnival (2015) – The day we entered the world, like a child abandoned at the freak show it seemed to shape what was to come
Trouble Child:
Book of Shadows (2020) – You know that genius kid in school who’s also a nightmare to handle? That’s Book of Shadows. Constantly pushing boundaries, but hey, those are the ones who change the world. Not only that but this was the first game that introduced us to the streamer sphere.
Puberty:
Tombstone – Ah, the awkward years. When you’re growing, discovering new things, seeing the sun for the first time, and realizing, “We’re ready to take on the world - with a confidence that isn't always deserved.” It was the first time we dared to dip our toes into the volatility cesspool and that began to infect the air we breath to this day.
Losing Our Virginity:
Punk Rocker – The start of the rebellion when we began questioning the status quo, the birth of feature buy and going against the establishment.
Found Our Identity:
Our 2021 games (San Quentin, Fire in the Hole, Mental, Das xBoot) – After some experimentation (sorry, 2020), we found our stride. The games were bolder, brasher and unapologetically Nolimit. Who are we? Yeah, that’s when we figured it out.
Mid-Life Crisis:
Our 2023 games (The Cage, Gluttony, Space Donkey) – Let’s just say, things got interesting. Some wild decisions, some risky moves, but like any good mid-life crisis, it brought us clarity.
Grandchildren:
Sequels of 2024 (Fire in the Hole 2, Punk Rocker 2, San Quentin 2 and Blood & Shadow 2 – Kids of our own games. They might be sequels, but don’t mistake them our offsprings as just re-runs, they are bigger, bolder and to be honest a little entitled and probably have some daddy issues as well!
Gen Z Grandchildren:
Labs Games – These ones are smart, tech-savvy and the future, games like (Nine To Five, Loner, Brick Snake 2000, Outsourced). They're way ahead of their time, and they’re not going anywhere, if anything, they’re only getting crazier and more unhinged. We hope you’re ready for this.
FUN STATS
Because numbers don’t lie, here are some of the trophy cabinet moments from our century of mayhem:
Highest Monetary Win:
San Quentin 2 - The biggest win we’ve ever seen with the highest payout of close to $7 million, accomplished 2 days ago!
Highest Stake Total:
Mental - This one makes us proud and slightly concerned.
Mistake or Masterstroke?: We never dated Megaways, and guess what? xWays & xNudge became our best decisions.
Easter Eggs:
xWays Hoarder’s big win Easter Egg is very close to our heart – eagle-eyed players know the secret.
Cult Following:
Nine To Five - Godly status for a game that introduced God Mode to the world
Most Rounds Played: Fire in the Hole – A legend in its own right, followed closely by Mental.
Our Favorite Baby: Tombstone – The one we always keep bragging about at family dinners.
There you go, 100 games in and still going strong. We’re not stopping anytime soon… in reality we’re only getting started. Cheers to whats next and 100 more games!
