As is often the case from Nolimit City, Beheaded is chock full of clever ideas, throws out confrontational subject matter, and is jam-packed with smart gameplay. It was harder to warm to than much of what Nolimit City had released earlier in the year and before, but some gamblers might relish the challenge Beheaded presents and look forward to taking some (virtual) heads of their own.

If people must lose their heads for our benefit, then so be it. The life of one ill-fated sailor in the name of entertainment is a small price to pay. The stakes are high in Beheaded, as is the entertainment value once more. Beheaded is another carefully curated piece of work, and the quality of their slots of late has been sublime, even if it does feel like they’ve speeded up production.

Beheaded just screams out Nolimit City; the theme, the mechanics, the features, the volatility.  They are not games for the faintest of hearted and can just as easily pay out your biggest ever win as they can suck you in and spit you back out the other side.

It sits somewhere between the elegance of Deadwood and the insane brutality of Tombstone RIP, mixing parts of its predecessors into a new tornado of warm, wild gun smoke.

Deadwood R.I.P is a masterful amalgamation of everything that made its predecessors, Tombstone and Deadwood, stand out in the crowded online slot market. By integrating explosive features from Tombstone R.I.P and Deadwood and enhancing them with additional mechanics, Nolimit City has crafted a game that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. The atmospheric design and meticulously crafted music further immerse you in the gritty world of the Wild West, making each spin feel like a high-stakes showdown. Despite the slightly lower max win compared to Tombstone R.I.P, Deadwood R.I.P more than makes up for it with its balanced mechanics and engaging features.

Nolimit City tend to set the bar when it comes to the extreme and, once again the bar has been raised with Deadwood RIP.  Any lover of the provider and their vast catalogue of all things Western will play this game and most likely come back for more.  It’s exciting, it’s brutal and it certainly has its quirks.  Anyone that takes on these outlaws can certainly be expecting the chance for a Fistful of Dollars.

At 100,000x the bet, Deadwood RIP isn’t quite as capable as Tombstone RIP is, but it’s still significantly more proficient than any game that isn’t a jackpot slot. The smaller potential is in no way disappointing as far as we’re concerned because of how significant it still is and if you’re a true slot connoisseur then the maximum possible win is secondary to the experience of actually enjoying it. Quick Draw, stands out as a new feature to the series, and the Shootout mechanic makes it feel more familiar to some of the other games we love so much. Nolimit City truly has done well to differentiate it enough from Tombstone RIP in a satisfactory way to make it feel very fresh.

Overall, Deadwood RIP was predictably superb, but the game was unpredictable and inventive at every turn to make it another new Nolimit City smash hit.

It doesn’t build upon an idea like DJ Psycho did with The Rave, and it’s not an obvious continuation of a story like Folsom Prison was to San Quentin. Then again, after playing Loner, perhaps we all exhibit these traits to greater or lesser degrees and the method for judging where we sit on the scale of discerning consumer at one end to rapacious degenerate at the other is how tidy the house is. Just a thought.

Thankfully, the base game provides plenty of different mechanics to get some big hits, and the overall vibe just makes it worth staying. It’s one of the few slots where we can really see ourselves getting hooked on the presentation alone. Well done Nolimit City!

Land Of The Free’s immense levels of controversial creativity will have some in awe at the studio’s comedic genius while others fear for its sanity.

Land Of The Free is chock full of absurdly hilarious imagery that requires an open mind and plenty of chill to appreciate. Those who get easily offended by exaggerated stereotypes should probably steer clear, although they'd be missing waves of unique entertainment.

We know by now that NoLimit is not for people who get easily triggered. Time by time, they find a new way to offend a new group of people, and we’re here for it. Not that we want people to be offended, but it’s fun with a provider stirring the pot and making things interesting. 

Land Of The Free makes fun of the stereotypical American trailer park family. While we don’t want to dig too deep into it and make you think that we agree with what’s being painted, we can confirm that this is how some people look at America, but again, not us. That is something we want to reiterate. 

So a funny theme is established, but how does the gameplay hold up? Well, it’s a pretty neat mechanic with the submersion and how that helps bring the features up. Furthermore, classic NoLimit mechanics like splitting symbols and Wild reels make it feel like a NoLimit not only thematically but also mechanically. But most of all we like that they’re continuing with this new “max win or nothing” feature that was first seen in Nine to Five. In Land Of The Free, it’s not quite max win or nothing, but there are 3 different prizes you can win. On top of that, the feature is way more exciting as the max win is 57000x, instead of 9217x in Nine to Five.

While possessing a level of innovation, there’s something about Devil’s Crossroad that left us wanting more.

A grid like this was first seen in the super bonus of Gluttony. We liked it then, and we like it now. Spinning the base game feels different to pretty much any other slot and is a testament to NoLimit’s strive for groundbreaking, innovative games. Thus, we were quite excited to see what they had cooked up for the bonus game, which turned out to be different from what we expected. 

The Redemption Spins feature is a bit too hold & spin-like for our liking. We said the same when NoLimit released Whacked, and we want to reiterate that we don’t think it’s a bad or boring game by any means. It’s just NoLimit that has created such high expectations by constantly pushing boundaries and giving us new experiences. And of course, it’s not a standard re-spin bonus with collectors and payers, but one with tons of different features and mechanics to boost the values. Furthermore, we would’ve been able to somewhat look past the lack of spark and innovation if it was jam-packed with potential, but with a max win of 13,180x the bet, it’s on the lower end of the NoLimit max win spectrum. 

With all that said, we do think that this is a solid game. It has a nice free spins frequency of 1 in 189 spins, meaning that you’ll see quite a lot of action, albeit the action is slightly toned down.

Nine To Five recreates the possible rewards and soul-crushing grind of a ruthless work environment in all its 90s splendour.

If you’ve ever worked in an office in the 90s, you’ll appreciate the effort Nolimit City has made with the Nine to Five slot. Graphically, it brings back memories of Beavis and Butt-head and The Office television series (by Ricky Gervais).

That evokes the mundane nature of these types of environments which are reinforced by the dial-up internet sounds and office equipment that has become redundant these days. From an aesthetic point of view, NLC has delivered yet again with a unique take on a possibly boring subject matter.

In terms of the gameplay, yellow ID Wilds can give you nothing (Red Wild) or a Green Wild with a random multiplier up to 5x. The xNudge Wild nudges and increases the win multiplier which can give you big wins if you manage to land multiple xNudge Wilds. xWays are pretty standard these days but they do increase the number of ways and display the same symbol.

The 2 free spins features see special symbols increase or decrease the win multiplier up 9,999x. Nothing unique here. In the base game though, landing the Mega symbol fully in view will award you the max payout (9,217 x bet). If you’re a non-UK player, you can opt for the God Mode for 1,370 x bet and get 1 spin in the hope you land this illusive Mega symbol.

With 9,217 x bet max wins, Nine to Five isn’t Nolimit City’s best-paying slot by any stretch of the imagination. That said, the max win probability is 1 in 148,000 spins in the base game. This is significantly lower than other NLC games. To compare, Tombstone RIP offers a max win of 300,000 x bet that will be won every 130 million spins.

I found this game entertaining from a thematic point of view. The xBet feature represents good value as it costs 10% more per spin and more than doubles your chances of triggering a free spins feature. I would recommend this to UK players with the bonus buy options not available.

In summary, the Nine to Five slot can be as much a slog as it is to work in these kinds of environments. If you manage to keep on the right side of your manager and get lucky with xNudge Wilds and win multipliers, it can see you reap the benefits of the rat race. At times, however, it will feel like you’re stuck in your cubicle with nowhere to run.

One of our streamers over at Casinodaddy, Ogge, once said that someone should create a bonus buy where you either get the max win or 0x. Were you listening, NoLimit?

Worth noting, though, is that the God Mode Bonus Buy is unlikely to be very appealing for the majority of players. Even at the lowest bet size, it comes in at a cost of €274 and has a very high chance of returning 0. Streamers and players with huge bankrolls might give it a go, though. 

Although too unique not to be the focus, Nine to Five has a lot more to offer than the God Mode feature. The nudges and xWays make it feel like an authentic NoLimit experience, where it’s easy to see how the game explodes. However, while they’ve been very innovative in one department, the rest of the game doesn’t feel that groundbreaking. The Middle Management Spins feel tame, with a rather slow exponential increase in multiplier. This changes if you reach the Ivory Tower, where you’ll immediately see more potential. 

Nine to Five by NoLimit City offers an absolutely absurd feature buy in what feels like an authentic NoLimit experience.

Roadkill

Roadkill’s arguably more balanced than some of Nolimit City’s heavyweights, but no less amusing for it.

Roadkill is yet another innovative casino slot from Nolimit City, known for making games that stand out from the basic ones. It introduces players to a bizarre world where animals like Papa Bear, Fred the Rabbit, and Deer Joe team up to thwart the menacing rednecks, Hilly and Billy, from running them over on a country road.

The game's quirky theme is supported by a cartoonish design. The slot offers a wide range of features, and it might take a while for the player to understand everything that can happen in this forgotten part of the world.

One cool feature is the Jumping Wild Symbols, each with its own unique abilities. Papa Bear provides multipliers, Fred the Rabbit leaves behind Wild symbols, and Deer Joe splits symbols when blocking cars. The cars also add something extra when they pass by on rows between the spins in the features Call to Arms, Team Assemble Bonus Game, and Junkyard Assault Bonus Game.

Roadkill’s max win of 11,091X the bet is lower than in several other games from the company, but it is still something worth fighting for. It triggers once in 25 million spins on average. The RTP of 96.05% is also solid and shouldn’t stop anyone from trying out the game.

Roadkill by Nolimit City brings humor and excitement in a game where animals turn into heroes as they try to stop Hilly and Billy from running them over.

Graphically superb, the Roadkill slot is another example from Nolimit City of a unique theme/approach which is sure to excite players. The brilliant soundtrack in the bonus features and the humorous take on the subject matter can be considered controversial yet welcome. Visually, it has similarities to NLC’s xWays Hoarder xSplit.

In terms of the gameplay, having a read through the bonus features will surely leave you confused. What I do like is that you don’t get a certain number of free spins from the features. You play until you run out of hearts. Keep an eye out for the 3 Jumping Wilds which enable Collectors when colliding with cars. Armoured hearts keep the features going for longer too.

The Jumping Wilds add a general multiplier which can reach 5x, split wilds which will lead to more ways to win and trappers which block cars from crossing the road and removing/damaging hearts.

I particularly like the Junkyard Assault feature where all 3 Jumping Wilds are upgraded and the 2 cars try to cross the road on every spin. If you’re lucky enough to play the Roadblock feature, Jumping Wilds transform a row each. This can lead to wilds, split rows and a 2x multiplier on the 3×3 Wild. If you stop both cars, you’ll benefit from a 3×3 Wild on the 3 middle reels.

With 11,091 x bet max wins, it’s much lower than the 36,000 x bet found in Road Rage (Roadkill’s predecessor). That said, the max win probability is 1 in 25 million spins compared to 1 in 80 million. You can achieve the max win more easily in the bonus features though. It will hit every 200,000 spins in Team Assemble and every 6,300 spins in Junkyard Assault.

If there’s ever a slot game you need to play in demo mode before playing for real, this is it. A few hundred spins will soon start to make sense. In summary, Roadkill is another entertaining slot from Nolimit City that offers unique gameplay and a quirky approach thematically. It may not offer the max win potential of other NLC titles but that’s a minor gripe in my opinion.

Roadkill is a witty, massively enjoyable production where visuals competently support the mechanics and vice versa. The clash between animals and humans on the road has never been so spectacular and amusing.

It might not be as unconventional as some might have expected, but Ugliest Catch sill has Nolimit City’s sass imprinted all over it.

With so many fishing-themed slot games out there, it was only a matter of time before Nolimit City came out with their take on it. The Ugliest Catch slot is certainly not conventional as cutesy graphics are replaced by a dirty and swampy setting where illegal and toxic dumping has led to mutated fish. Typical NLC in many ways, it’s a fishing destination where most wouldn’t dare to venture to.

Set in the deep south, it’s all about landing Free Spins Scatters which opens up Enhancer Cells. These have been used in other Nolimit City slots such as Mental, Serial and San Quentin amongst others. Anyway, xWays increase the number of ways to win and Big Berta contains random bet multipliers up to 5,000x.

If you land the Golden Fisherman Wild, the Kill N’ Grill Wild Fishing feature which sees multipliers from collected Fish Trophy symbols added together and awarded. Fish Trophy symbols can be worth up to 5,000 x bet too.

Then you have the 3 free spins features which have either 6, 8 or 10 Enhancer Cells opened. The important part are the 3 Troll Levels which are reached with every 4th Fisherman Wild collected. As well as awarding additional free spins and the Kill N’ Grill Wild Fishing feature, the multiplier increases to 2x, 3x and finally 10x. The Troll Level multiplier applies to collected Fish Trophy symbols.

With 50,000 x bet max wins possible, the route to landing a big catch is via the Fish Trophy symbols, the Big Berta multipliers and Troll Level multipliers during the free spins. I would argue that the Golden Fisherman Wild is the key as he collects Fish Trophy prizes and increases the Troll Level.

Space Donkey is a wildly creative 8-bit bonanza that should send old-school gamers scrambling for their consoles.

If you just read through the explanation of the various bonus games, we’re impressed. It’s a lot to take in, and we don’t blame you if you’d rather just explore the game on your own. 

Understanding every little mechanic of the game would take some serious research, but you really don’t need it. As you partake in the different features, you’ll start understanding what the main objective is, and it’s not as hard to follow as it might look at first. 

During our session on this game, our confusion on why this theme is not used more has only strengthened. We love graphically strong games (such as Money Train 4), but there’s definitely a place for games like this as well. A game with retro visuals is also not automatically a game with bad graphics. Space Donkey genuinely looks really good, and its bright colors are very eye-pleasing. NoLimit has done wonders when it comes to the animations and how the grid and landscape move, coming close to thematic perfection.

If we were to mention one thing, except the scenery, that we love about this game, that would be the fact that it has two different bonus games. Many games nowadays have a “super bonus”, but it’s usually just a boosted version of the regular bonus. Here, it’s a completely different feature with other mechanics, which is a nice change of pace. 

Space Donkey by NoLimit City takes you on a retro adventure with two different bonus games and a whole lot of firepower.

Space Donkey packs an unbelievable amount of exciting mechanics into the game, offering multi-layer gameplay in a quirky 8-bit setting boasting a unique backstory.

For those who love retro video games, you may well fall in love with the Space Donkey slot. It resembles the Capcom classic video game 1942, which has a birdseye view of the action. The background is very similar too.

It brings back memories of Thunderkick’s Flame Busters and Relax Gaming’s Hellcatraz, which is still a very popular slot to this day. They’ve since followed that up with Hellcatraz 2 Dream Drop, which was another one of the provider’s success stories. But the difference here is that the bonus features are almost like video games themselves. They’re fantastically unique.

While this might not be as fast-paced or as volatile as previous Nolimit City releases, I’m confident it’s going to be another smash hit from a provider who’s always using innovative ways to push the boundaries.

Overall, The Crypt slot looks superb and offers something, thematically, no other provider offers at the time of writing. With proven mechanics and bonus features, the max win potential is good without being spectacular. With more ways to win and some tweaks to the free spins, a larger max win figure would have really made the game as legendary as the dead legends it features.

In summation, we might have nitpicked a bit while reviewing The Crypt, but such is the standard Nolimit City has set that each release tends to get dissected under a microscope. What's come out after the inspection is a clever game with a playfully inventive theme, even if it's not one of Nolimit City's premier, outrageously innovative slots.

The Crypt is a slot with revived rock legends and previously used mechanics, whose composition results in a great show that can provide wins of up to 27000X the bet.

The Crypt's another high-end release from the limitless team, adorned with fantastic effects and dynamic animations shaping an outstanding online gaming experience.

Dj Psycho is arguably one of the most unique online slot experiences, even if requiring a significant learning curve and being difficult to decipher long after the first contact.

Nolimit City started out on its grid slot journey with The Border, and then quickly followed it up with Pearl Harbor. The DJ Psycho slot is another intriguing addition to the grid slot portfolio, and there are some fantastic features that make this one stand out from the crowd. Especially when you compare it to The Rave. It’s very similar but also very different if that makes sense.

There’s a lot going on, and you’d be forgiven for being a little confused at first. It does take a few minutes to get used to things, as I found while testing this slot in depth. I enjoyed a lot of small wins, but it did take me quite a long time to trigger one of the Free Spins features. But once I managed to trigger it, I always seemed to land fairly big wins, which was great to see. It’s also great to see the DJ Psycho slot’s variance levels in the medium range as a lot of Nolimit games tend to be on the extreme side.

If you’re a fan of complex slots, this one might well be for you. But don’t be fooled by the 4×4 grid size as there’s so much to take in here. Our detailed DJ Psycho review will stand you in good stead before you try the game for yourself.
