xMechanics Explained
xMechanics? Don’t know em… Well it’s time you get familiar!
Let's be honest. You've probably played a Nolimit City game, hit a feature called xSomething®, watched the reels go crazy and thought:
"Yeah… oh I definitely know what's happening here." And you didn't. And that's okay. Over the years we've created enough xMechanics™ to make our mathematicians cry and yes, even our seasoned players go “wtf.” We see the comments.
We've ALL been there. So we're here to help you. Here's your crash course in our most popular xMechanics™. You’re very welcome :)
Starting with some classics…
xWays®

When an xWays® symbol lands, it reveals a stack of matching symbols. The more symbols revealed, the more ways there are to win.
Check it out in Catfish Hunters
Infectious xWays®

Now it’s contagious. When an Infectious xWays® symbol reveals a symbol that's already visible elsewhere on the reels, those matching symbols become infected and expand too.
Check it out in Duck Hunters
xNudge®

It just needs a little… push. When a Wild lands, it can nudge up or down to fill the entire reel. Every time it nudges, its multiplier increases by +1.
Funny how a few gentle nudges can make something so much bigger.

xSplit®

Why have one symbol when you can have two? When an xSplit® symbol appears, every symbol to its left is split into two.
Then theres also Reel xSplit®. Except instead of splitting a row of symbols... It splits an entire reel.

xGod®

Ask and ye MIGHT receive. (maybe). No promises, but maybe. Available as a purchasable bonus round, xGod® is a standalone feature capable of delivering the game's maximum win entirely on its own.
Just activate God Mode and let fate take the wheel.

xTra Spin™

Everyone’s favourite!! The bonus round's over. The multipliers are looking proper cheeky. And suddenly xTra Spin™ appears. Giving you the opportunity to purchase one additional spin while keeping all the multipliers from the previous spin.
Check it out in Tombstone Begins
xBomb®

An exploding xBomb® Wild removes adjacent symbols except for Bonus symbols and will increase the win multiplier by one for the next collapse.
Check it out in True Grit Redemption 2
xLoot®
Payouts are awarded when the moving character picks up symbols of its same colour! Characters can also collect Wilds and special features within the game.
Check it out in Tanked 3: First Blood 2
xGlitch™

xGlitch™ may trigger when a character is limited to picking up only one symbol, causing only feature symbols to fall during avalanches. This can repeat 4 to 50 times in a row, creating the appearance of a glitch in the game.
Check it out in Tanked 3: First Blood 2
xHole™

Check it out in Flight Mode
xHole™ Sucks all the symbols in, and spits them right back out. Symbols only from main reels are sucked in and are spit out to random positions with splitted symbols of size 2 to 8. In case of an xNudge® Wild, it changes size and win multiplier. xHole™ then converts to Wild.
xMental™

xMental™ as the name implies is truly mental. Unleashing the chaos of other xMechanics in the game in one spin!
Check it out in Mental 2
xRIP®

xRIP® is triggered by any spin. If the total win is less than the base stake, then there is no payout…
Check it out in Tombstone RIP
xZone™

What even is personal space anyways? xZone™ applies a +1 multiplier to every regular paying symbol and Wild that’s touching it.
And by touching, we mean everywhere around it. Up, down, sideways and diagonally.
Check it out in Skate Or Die
xCap™

If your win exceeds the game's maximum payout, xCap™ may appear. It gives you the chance to multiply your win by up to 10x!!!!!! WOW!
Disclaimer: xCap™ has only debuted in Rock Bottom, what we like to call NLC's one hit wonder.
We have a few more under our sleeve, however they are currently not as popular and this blog post will just be longer so… There you have it.
If you've made it this far, we'd like to congratulate you, trooper.
You're now potentially able to explain xMechanics™ to your friends who might zone out pretty quick, but at least you understand more about xMechanics™ than 90% of the website’s comments section. :)
