The main reel setup is 2-3-4-4-4-4 rows across 6 reels, with 4 locked Enhancer Cells placed at the top of the last 4 reels. When a Scatter lands, it opens the locked Enhancer Cell on it’s reel. Regular and Scatter symbols appear in the main reel area, while special symbols only appear in the locked positions.

When Scatter symbols land, they transform into Wilds. Landing 2 Scatter symbols in base game will trigger a respin. 3 or 4 Scatters in base game will trigger the Bonus modes: Isolation Spins or Execution Spins respectively. When Isolation or Execution Spins are triggered, Scatter symbols will not transform into Wilds.

Landing 2 Scatters in base game, xBoost 1 or 2 will award a respin with opened Enhancer Cells, where Scatters landed previously. Any additional Scatter landing during respin will award an extra spin. Isolation/Execution Spins cannot be triggered during respin.

When triggered to open they may reveal xSplit® Reel, xSplit® Row, xWays®, Sticky Wild, Wild Reel and Doubled Inmate symbols. - xSplit® Reel: It splits all symbols on its reel and doubles their symbol sizes. - xSplit® Row: Lands on a random position on it’s reel and splits all symbols in the same row, doubling their size. - xWays®: It randomly lands on its reel and transforms into a normal paying symbol. It will reveal 2-4 symbols of the same kind and increase the number of win ways. The xWays® symbol is always sticky. If more than one xWays® symbol lands on the reels, then all Ways® symbols will reveal the same symbol. xWays® may appear only during Isolation, Execution Spins and Unbarred Spin. - Doubled Inmate: It appears as a random Inmate paying symbol and doubles the symbol size of all its instances on the main reel area. - Sticky Wild: It randomly transforms a symbol from reel 2-6 on the main reel area into a Wild. If respin, Isolation or Execution Spins is triggered, Wild will remain sticky on its position. - Wild Reel: Transform all symbols on its reel into Wild symbols.

Landing 3 Scatter symbols in base game will trigger 7 Isolation Spins. Enhancer Cells are unlocked on reels where Scatter lands and 1-3 xWays® symbols are randomly awarded on those reels. These xWays® symbols will remain sticky throughout the bonus mode. A locked Enhancer Cell unlocks when a Scatter lands on its reel, upgrades the bonus mode to Execution Spins and awards +3 spins. Landing a Scatter on open reel awards +1 spin.

Landing 4 Scatter symbols in base game will trigger 10 Execution Spins. All Enhancer Cells are unlocked and 1-4 xWays® Symbols are randomly awarded which remain sticky throughout the bonus mode. Landing any additional Scatter during Execution Spins will awards +1 spin.

At a cost of 2.5 times the base bet, the player is guaranteed a Scatter symbol on reel 3 or 4. 3 times more likely to hit Isolation/Execution Spins.

At a cost of 20 times the base bet, the player is guaranteed 2 Scatter symbols on either reel (3 or 4) and reel (5 or 6). A respin is guaranteed. 27 times more likely to hit Isolation/Execution Spins.

At a cost of 30 times the base bet one spin is awarded with all Enhancer Cells unlocked. Any Scatter landing will award +1 spin.

The max payout of the game is 44,444 times the base bet. When the total win exceeds this amount the game round will end and 44,444 times the base bet is awarded.

However, aside from the progression through bonus levels, xSplit as individual symbols increase win ways during base play.
